Study groups are a great way to review for a test. Confer with friends and share class notes. Your buddy might have picked up information you missed out on. Working with a study group is advantageous because it keeps you motivated and focused, allowing for interaction and discussion. Students who are less likely to raise their hand in class to ask a question might find a study group a more casual atmosphere, and will be more comfortable discussing areas of difficulty with their peers. Study groups also allow you to hear other students perceptions and ideas. Make sure to include a variety of different personalities. You never know, what one person might have gleamed from a lesson may be something that never occurred to you.
